  • Do I need to do anything to prepare for your arrival?
You don't need to do much before we start, but we would love it if you would remove any art from the walls, or clothes from closets that are to be painted. We will move all your furniture and window treatments and make sure all of your surfaces are properly protected before we start; and when we leave we will make sure everything returns to it's original position.
  • How will you protect our home while painting?
Before painting we will always make sure to properly cover your floors, furniture and any other surfaces that may become exposed to paint. We use a variation of plastic, paper and cloth coverings. Additionally, we make sure to remove all faceplates as well as, repair any damage your walls may have; such as, holes, dents and scratches.

  • Do I need to prepare my walls for painting? What if they have holes and cracks?
No preparation needs to be done to your walls. We excel in drywall and plaster repairs, including fixing any holes, scrapes, scratches, dents or knicks. Your walls will also be cleaned of any water stains or marks, as well as dirt stains, grease, and general scuffs before painting occurs.
  • How do I know when it's time to repaint my space?
The life-span of fresh paint is determined by a few things. First, the quality of paint and technique used the first time. Followed by the traffic volume of the area being painted. Areas that recieve a lot of attention may wear down more quickly than areas left alone. For instance, children's rooms often needs to be repainted more frequently than kitchens. Another factor to consider is the presence of a fireplace, or smoking in general. When you choose All Canadian Painting, not only are you receiving the best quality service, but we choose the best quality products, so that your spaces look new for 6-10 years.
  • What types and colours of paint should I use?
Materials differ job to job and can be very difficult for you to choose. Many factors are involved; cost, availability, finish, and of course, colour. Luckily for you, our experts can help you find what's right for your personal space.
